Lumee Case Study: Will It Light Up Your Selfie Or Is Just The Case With Lights
Overall Lumee Case Conclusion:
Yes, definitely a go and 100% worth it! No instructions needed to pop on your phone and start using.
If your selfie matters to you and digital social life are important to you, it’s a must.
Not only bloggers and teenagers love it, it can be handy for everyday use in more ways than you ever expected.
An adjustable light that doesn’t eat your battery charge.
Lumee Case popped up in my Amazon feed for the first time when I started shopping for my home studio equipment.
You see I had my Lifeproof Case for the longest time and I absolutely loved the safety of it. But I started to think about getting a new case for my phone.
I decided to run my decision by my girlfriends. They all agreed that perfect light for selfies sounded cool and they all heard about it, but no-one had it and I should totally go for it under one condition… I had let them know how it works. So here it is.
So I ordered it that very night. Next couple of days we were collectively anxious about Lumee Case arrival.
It arrived pretty quick (Amazon Prime is amazing!) Also I got really lucky with price as they just introduced out a new improved version of it and it was on sale.
As far as the price goes, I consider it to be pretty reasonable. Let’s face it our average Sephora receipt is far higher. I am a true believer that accessories matter in everyday life.
Some colors are more expensive than others and you are more than welcome to pick a DUO version of it if you find value in it.
Lumee Case Colors
It comes in a wide variety of colors:
Black, White, Rose Matte, White and Black Marble.
I have bought Matte Black as I try to wear my Lous Vuitton black purse a little bit more and my leather planner is black, too.
Lumee Case Packaging and Assembly
I don’t necessarily open all my purchases right away. I know… I know… It’s so wrong (I’m working on it). My expectation of a new product is tiny-tiny instruction pages and long and with a really small font.
I was pleasantly surprised no instruction needed (instructions were on the box and in pictures) I just popped it on and I started to use it.
I did not have time to charge it right away (it happened to be charged and surprisingly had a decent amount of charge).

Lumee Case Real Life Testing For 1 st day impression
On my first day one of my friends… DROPPED IT… on the tile floor… which made my heart stop
(I’m really thankful it wasn’t a public bathroom floor lol)
TO MY COMPLETE SURPRISE IT WAS FINE!
Having Lumee Case for a week Real Life conditions
I don’t take a lot of selfies *cough* (my boyfriend thinks I do though) I am trying to monitor my vanity lol so at least I don’t post them as often.
I constantly on the lookout for great ideas for my posts here on the blog and my Instagram. I never know when an opportunity presents itself to snap a picture or two though. Lumee Case made me feel confident about good quality for unplanned on the go and behind the scenes content.
Buying it in autumn was a win-win since the days got shorter and darker. Now I don’t have to be worried about the low light situations.
Light Up Your Selfie
To my relief, I found it proved to be more than just a glorified flashlight!
Let’s not forget that the quality of the light that you get with it is studio quality. It was invented by a professional photographer, so it provides consistent soft light to a brightness that you desire to have.
Although perfect light and high-quality selfies are super nice, I wanted to mention additional perks of having it:
You know that time that you need the “flashlight” and it takes you forever to bring it up on a touchscreen. Well… You won’t have to worry about it.
You’ll have the right amount of light (unlike the regular flashlight) and did I mention the case flashlight doesn’t eat your battery. It’s within touch of a button.
I have to look for the keys in my purse and the parking lot is dark.
It’s really dark and I’m in high heels and the restaurant parking lot happened to be dark.
Cinemas… I think a can write a paragraph or two on that.
In the middle of the night
When something falls on the floor…
If you have a pretty active digital social life (blogger, a public person or lots of Facebook friends), that’s 100% yes.
If you love selfies and you post or snap makeup photos, it is a yes! If you are always on the go, yes you should have it.
You may consider additional protection for a screen with it.
I hope I got everything covered and if you have any questions post them in comments. I would love to answer them if I can.
I hope my Lumee Case review is not too long. I wanted to cover all aspects of having Lumee Case and it helped you to decide if you need it in your life.
